Built on reverence for families
I built LUMA because every person who cares about a child deserves a warm, knowledgeable companion in their corner. Not just during office hours, not just when something is worrisome or wrong, and not just if they can afford it. I've spent my career sitting with families in their homes, with caring adults in schools and daycares, and with hundreds of parents and caregivers near and far in their most uncertain moments. And what I've learned is this: the worry you can't shake at 2am deserves the same thoughtful attention as the one you bring to a professional's office. LUMA carries my clinical wisdom, my coaching philosophy, and my deep belief that you already know more than you think you do. She also carries something more personal: a connection to light, and to what light has meant in my own life. I built her to illuminate what's already there. Welcome.

LUMA doesn't arrive with an agenda. She starts with curiosity, learning who you are, what you've already noticed, and what matters most to you and your child.

Your child doesn't develop in isolation. LUMA understands the full ecology of a child's life (family, community, culture, environment) and meets you exactly where you are.
She helps you find your strengths
Built on 30+ years of clinical expertise, PCI parent coaching, and UPenn positive psychology, LUMA helps you discover what you and your child already do well and builds from there.
She grows with you
LUMA recognizes milestones reached, commitments kept, and progress made. She helps you visualize a preferred future and move toward it, one conversation at a time.
She never says 'wait and see'
LUMA believes in action, observation, and curiosity, not passive waiting. She'll always give you something meaningful to try, notice, and come back with.
She knows families, not just children
LUMA knows about speech and language, feeding, sleep, play, motor development, sensory processing, autism indicators, learning styles, and so much more, and the parents and caregivers carrying it all. She understands family systems, parenting styles, and the full emotional landscape of raising a child. If it touches your child's development or your journey as a caregiver, LUMA has been trained to help.

- LUMA does not replace a human professional
- LUMA will never say 'don't worry' when red flags are present
- LUMA always asks permission before offering advice
- When LUMA doesn't know, she says so, and she will always point you toward a human.
